Questions About Memorizing

1I’ve never memorized before, how do I start?
Dr. Andrew David has a wonderful and HIGHLY recommended PDF book detailing how to memorize Scripture. You can access the PDF by clicking here.
2What if I don’t have time to memorize?
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you'll find an excuse.

Just like prayer, reading your Bible and other spiritual disciplines it’s about MAKING time for it. Be creative and look for the little increments of opportunity you have in your day to memorize. Remember, it doesn’t have to be an entire hour! Consistency and regularity of 10-15 minutes a day will add up and pay off!
3What if I have kids?
Memorize with your kids! If you’re worried about competing at the tournament, childcare will be provided
4What if I just want to memorize but I don’t want to quiz at the Classic?
That is perfectly okay! We encourage you to still memorize as that is the number one priority of MLQ. The Classic is an extra experience. If you’d still like to come and participate in the fellowship aspect we invite you to come and join in on the fun.
